JPN is an open access journal. All articles published are available free of charge on this website as well as on PubMed Central. Its mission is to publish original research and review papers in psychiatry and in neuroscience that advance our understanding of the mechanisms involved in the etiology and treatment of psychiatric disorders.

JPN is owned by CMA Joule Inc., a subsidiary of the Canadian Medical Association.
